Middle Tennessee
Middle Tennessee is made up of rolling hills and valleys. This area offers a more relaxing way of life with small town atmospheres and plenty of ‘ma & pa’ stores. You’ll even find the world’s largest yard sale located on Hwy 11. It’s held annually the weekend after Mother’s Day in May. There’s lots of undeveloped land and natural beauty found here. You’re not far from either of the big cities of Nashville or Knoxville. There’s a fair share of lakes and golf courses to enjoy too. The popular Fairfield Glade retirement destination is located in Middle Tennessee just outside of Crossville. The homes are more affordable than East Tennessee but you can still find wonderful gated communities. Interstate 40 is the main highway crossing through this section of our state and gives you quick access to I-75 and I-81 in the Knoxville area.
